LINDFIELD FAMILY MEDICINE (LFM) has over 60 years’ experience in providing general practice medical services. Incorporating Drs Ferraris, Power and Associates, today we are a group of 13 dedicated medical professionals who aim to provide the highest level of healthcare to individuals and families. With a wide variety of special interest areas our doctors are committed to continuous vocational development.

We are an independently owned and managed practice that is fully accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Supplies of the new government funded Shingles vaccine is in short supply however we anticipate that this will improve in the new year. 

  Currently we are prioritising those people who are significantly at risk. Please discuss with your usual doctor about when to book your appointment.

If stock is available your doctor will be able to offer vaccination during your consultation.

TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS 

Telehealth appointments continue to play a role in the delivery of care. 

• To be eligible to receive your Medicare rebate you will need to have been seen at our surgery within the previous 12 months. 
• Telehealth appointments are billed at the same rates as our in-surgery appointments. 
• To confirm your booking you will need to provide a method of payment prior to consultation. 

Medicare have changed the way Practices can collect your consent for bulk billing telehealth. If you doctor makes a brief call to you for simple results and wants to ensure no out of pocket charge to you - then you will either only have to pay the rebate fee or complete a e-consent.

HOW DO I GET MY RESULTS ?

Your doctor will review your results and decide if your results are urgent, need follow up, or if no action is needed.

·     For urgent concerns, we will give you a   phone call.

·    If your results require further action or discussion we will  contact to make a non-urgent follow up appointment 

Please book an appointment online if your doctor hasn’t requested a follow-up consultation and you are still experiencing symptoms.
