FAMILY PLANNING AND OBSTETRIC CARE

From contraceptive advice to fertility assessment and referrals, our doctors are able to provide you with individualised management plans. We also provide shared care obstetric and post-natal care, liaising with Royal North Shore and Hornsby hospitals.

CONTRACEPTIVE SERVICES

We offer a wide range of contraceptive advice and services including:

• Implanon (insertion and removal)
• IUD insertion and Removal (MIRENA)
• Sexual health screening
• Pregnancy counselling

MEN’S HEALTH

Regular health checks, blood pressure checks, cholesterol checks, prostate checks and advice and treatment on sexual health.

SKIN CARE

Our doctors are experienced in performing skin checks, biopsies and minor surgical excisions.  

IRON INFUSIONS

We offer Iron Infusions to appropriate patients who have been identified as iron-deficient and for whom oral iron replacement has not been sufficient or is not appropriate.  For further details, see our Iron Infusions page. 

MENTAL HEALTH

Good mental health is central to the well-being of individuals, families and communities. Our mental healthcare services include: medication management, GP Mental Healthcare plans, counselling and referral to allied health providers.  

IMMUNISATIONS

Immunisation protects against a range of preventable diseases and infections.

 We provide:

• Childhood immunisations, catch-up immunisations, and assist you in updating your overseas vaccinations to the Australian Immunisation Registry
• Administer allergen immunotherapy injections under your specialist therapy plan.
• Seasonal vaccinations:  Influenza, COVID-19 boosters, as well as Shingles, Whooping Cough (Pertussis), and Pneumococcal. 

TRAVEL MEDICINE

We provide  general travel vaccinations and advice.

CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT PLANS

Chronic diseases such as:  Diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis and arthritis are some of the common conditions which can be supported and better managed with a GP management plan.

You are eligible for a GP management plan if you have had a chronic condition for at least 6 months. 

A GP management plan outlines your chronic conditions and health goals. It provides treatment strategies and your GP can connect you to any required allied health and Specialists to ensure the most comprehensive care of your chronic disease. 

NURSE CONSULTATIONS

Our Registered Nurses are able to take appointments for established patients of the practice under the supervision of your GP.   Their services are generally bulk billed and include:

Childhood and general vaccinations, wound dressings, blood pressure monitoring, health assessments and booster immunisations.  

HEALTH ASSESSMENTS

Health assessments are a personalised health care plan. They provide a review of your medical history, current health and lifestyle factors to help identify risk factors.

TRANSLATION SERVICES

We can organise access to the TIS National Interpreter Service where an interpreter is necessary to facilitate healthcare services. We can also organise the National Relay Service for those with high level hearing needs. Please ask our friendly receptionist about these services. 

SPECIAL NEEDS

Access to our practice is at street level and wheelchair accessible. There is parking available in the adjacent Tryon Road carpark, and again, there is level access.  We also have disabled toilets on site.
