TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Telehealth appointments continue to play a role in the delivery of care. 

  • To be eligible to receive your Medicare rebate you will need to have been seen at our surgery within the previous 12 months. 
  • Telehealth appointments are billed at the same rates as our in-surgery appointments. 
  • To confirm your booking you will need to provide a method of payment prior to consultation. 

Medicare have changed the way Practices can collect your consent for bulk billing telehealth. If you doctor makes a brief call to you for simple results and wants to ensure no out of pocket charge to you - then you will either only have to pay the rebate fee or complete a e-consent. 

 

 

HOW DO I GET MY RESULTS ?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your doctor will advise you when and how to get your results, however results will generally fall into the following follow up categories: 

  1. For abnormal results or urgent concerns, we will contact you to make a follow up appointment 
  2. If you have not heard from your Doctor it is always best to follow up your results by leaving a message with reception for a results call back from your Doctor. 
  3. If you are still experiencing symptoms and your Doctor hasn't requested a follow-up appointment, please contact the surgery on 9416 7411 or book online to make a further appointment to discuss.
