Telehealth appointments continue to play a role in the delivery of care.
Medicare have changed the way Practices can collect your consent for bulk billing telehealth. If you doctor makes a brief call to you for simple results and wants to ensure no out of pocket charge to you - then you will either only have to pay the rebate fee or complete a e-consent.
Your doctor will advise you when and how to get your results; however, results will generally fall into the following follow-up categories:
1 For abnormal results or urgent concerns, we will contact you to make a follow-up appointment. | 2 If you have not heard from your Doctor, it is always best to follow up your results by leaving a message with reception for a results call back from your Doctor. | 3 If you are still experiencing symptoms and your Doctor hasn't requested a follow-up appointment, please contact the surgery on 02 9416 7411 or book online to make a further appointment to discuss. |
